The North Carolina BASS Federation would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family and friends of Roger Day. We have lost a great man and a great supporter of our Federation. Roger will be tremendously missed. He was always there when asked.

Funeral arrangements are not available to us at this time.
Our prayers go out to his family.

Thanks for having us over to the Directors meeting. Very informative and insightful, I was very impressed with how the whole meeting was conducted. I hope we didn't put anyone on the spot with some of our questions. I now have a better appreciation of what you all do and am very thankful to you and your associates. If there is ever anything I can do to help, please do not hesitate to call me. I am dedicated to fishing whether it be a club tournament or kids event I pour myself into it. My dad brought me up fishing and I'll never forget all he did for me, God rest his soul.

North Carolina Anglers Sweep Southern Divisional

North Carolina has won its first Divisional Championship title in more than a decade! The team out fished the other competing states by a 34 pound and 2 ounce margin of victory with a total team weight of 247 pounds and 3 ounces.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (April 26, 2008)  Brian Travis of Conover, N.C., a 30-year-old supervisor for Southeastern Freight Line, is now Living the Dream after catching five bass weighing 14 pounds, 5 ounces on the final day of The Bass Federation National Championship presented by the National Guard Saturday on Lake Wylie. He captured the TBF National Championship title with a three-day total catch of 15 bass weighing 45 pounds, 9 ounces.
